Mi Bebe y Yo (5 volunteers)

Delivered around 200 packets
Got a donation of 81 baby blankets from member Sandra Jimenez
Working with 2 hospitals
Were invited to present our program at a Health fair in a Public School High School

First Impressions (2 volunteers)

Restructuring to be ready for Spring
Needs more volunteers to help with mock interviews and resume writing

Done In a Day (3 volunteers)

Starting a project building a Ludoteca for the Puente Grande Reclusorio for the babies and toddlers living with their moms there
Have confirmed the donation of a mural
Working with TEC Architecture students
Will let members know when we have a date for volunteering opportunity there

Casi Como Nuevo (5 volunteers + clerk)

Had record-breaking sales thanks to donations from JL members and others
Member Magda Urban secured a donation of costumes from ASFG Green Team
Obtained a big donation of new clothes from a Mexican designer
In the process of remodeling with advice from a Marie Kondo Specialist, a Clothes Retail Specialist and a Social Media expert, new member Donají Ledesma

Sabados Musicales (5 volunteers, 5 ASFG student volunteers)

Gave 5 classes to the children of Sueños y Esperanzas casa hogar
Bought new instruments

Soup Kitchen (7 volunteers, 5 ASFG student volunteers)

Donated 500 meals to mothers and children
Involved HP, Pepsi, Hershey’s, De la Rosa, Oracle and other companies in direct or indirect donations with the community
Giving educational talks on important family issues for the SK moms
Receiving a monthly donation from a former member
Secured the participation of a pediatrician for SK children
Gave 75 dispensas and 150 bolos at our annual Posada. We also gave to each child a book (donated by president Terrill Martinez)

Ninos Fuertes, Hombres Fuertes (3 volunteers)

Presented the project to Marisa Foundation and got personal funding from Marisa herself
Met with a rep from United Nations Population Fund in Mexico City and are incorporating some edits they suggested to make the program more game-based.

ASFG student volunteers (5 students)

Are raising funds to start their Hospital Zoquipan project at ASFG Holiday Giving Celebration and Student Bake Sale on the 24th of January at ASFG

Jóvenes Líderes Scholarship (2 volunteers)

We are paying for one college student’s meals, transportation, and books
This year we will sponsor another female student
