PROGRAM
MI BEBÉ Y YO
Most mothers in Hospital Civil’s maternity ward are low income or teenage mothers. The items they receive are frequently the only supplies available for them to clothe their babies and care for themselves after the babies’ birth.
Our volunteers make monthly visits to new mothers at Hospital Civil de Guadalajara and provide Welcome Packets with basic necessities items such as:
Diapers
Sanitary pads
Blankets
Toiletries
Onesies
Hats
Breastfeeding information

I took up volunteer work as a way to give back for all the blessings I’ve got. I never thought I would be the one getting so much out of this; this work has branded me. I am so thankful for this new perspective of motherhood and life.
